The city has transformed over the years – from an early 1600s Dutch settlement to the first capital of New York in 1777 and a center of industry, to an artist’s haven. Today, Kingston’s Midtown Arts District (MAD) is home to a plethora of artist studios and a community of talented filmmakers, woodworkers, performers, silversmiths, and more! In addition, Kingston also offers a notable collection of restaurants, live music and performing arts venues, cafes, breweries, and shops for everyone to enjoy.
